What a blue light filter does (and what it doesn’t).

What it does

  • Reflects part of the blue-violet light from screens and LED bulbs.
  • Cuts glare thanks to the premium anti-reflective coating, so you see with more contrast.
  • Adds UV protection in a clear lens you can wear all day.
  • Many people find them more comfortable during long days at the screen.

What it doesn’t do

  • It doesn’t replace an eye exam or correct your vision without a prescription.
  • It doesn’t cure or prevent eye diseases: current scientific evidence doesn’t support that.
  • It doesn’t eliminate eye strain on its own, which depends mostly on how long you focus up close and blinking less.

How much are blue light glasses at Livor?

With your prescription (single vision) and Standard material they start at $269 USD, and non-prescription at $249 USD. The price includes the frame, premium anti-reflective coating, UV protection and the blue light filter. In Premium material they cost $349 USD and in Elite $449 USD.

Can I order blue light glasses without a prescription?

Yes. On any frame’s page, choose non-prescription lenses and Digital protection. In Standard material they cost $249 USD.

Do blue light glasses get rid of eye strain?

Not on their own. Current scientific evidence doesn’t show that blue light from screens damages the eyes, and eye strain is mostly linked to focusing up close for a long time and blinking less. Many people choose them because the premium anti-reflective coating cuts glare and they feel more comfortable on long days. Take breaks with the 20-20-20 rule.

Does the blue light filter change the colors I see?

The lens looks clear. Seen from the side you’ll notice a blue-violet reflection on the surface, and some people see screen whites as slightly warmer during the first few days.

What’s the difference between Digital and Total protection?

Both include premium anti-reflective coating, UV protection and a blue light filter. Total adds the photochromic lens, which darkens in the sun. Learn about photochromic glasses.

Which lens material is right for me?

As a guide, Standard works up to ±2.00, Premium from ±2.25 to ±3.50 and Elite above ±3.50, because it’s the thinnest. If you’re unsure, message us with your prescription. Decode your prescription.

How do I send my prescription?

After you pay, send us a clear photo of your prescription on WhatsApp along with your order number. That’s all we need to make your lenses. How to send your prescription.

Do you ship to my country?

Yes, we ship internationally with tracking. Shipping options and cost for your address are shown at checkout. Delivery takes 20 to 40 business days, and import taxes and duties are not included.
